Open the extension, choose your audio or media file, and start the job from the side panel. This is useful when your content already exists as a saved file and you want the fastest path to a draft transcript.

The same account also works on the website, so a saved-file workflow can begin on the web and continue in the extension without splitting balance or history across two different products.

Follow job progress without leaving the page

The interface exposes clear job states, so you can see whether the file is uploading, queued, being processed, completed, or failed. That matters when you are handling longer recordings or multiple jobs during a work session.

Use the transcript in the format you need

When the job completes, you can copy the transcript directly, download it as a TXT file, or export it to Google Docs for cleanup and editing.

Best for recorded lectures, voice notes, and interviews

This workflow is a strong fit for saved lecture recordings, podcasts, interview files, voice memos, meeting recordings, and research audio that you already have on disk.

Choose upload when the recording is already yours

If the media is already saved locally, upload is cleaner than realtime or browser capture. It removes one layer of recording from the process and keeps the job closer to the original source file.
